CONSULTATION & CONCEPT DESIGN
Arrange an in-home consultation and express your dreams for the project.
CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
Once the design is finalized, we create a set of drawings that can be used to obtain a building permit
BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION
Once your construction drawing package is complete, it's time to apply for your building permit!
During our initial consultation we work with you to determine your design style, wants and needs for the project, size of home, as well as the general flow of the space. This initial meeting is also a great time for you to ask questions and pick our brain. Using this information we will provide you with a few concept designs that we think you will love!
While creating your construction drawing package we work to ensure that your project complies with local zoning regulations and all other applicable law. We conduct a full building code analysis of your project to ensure that your permit application will be approved by the city. All construction drawing packages meet or exceed the Ontario Building Code and are stamped by a BCIN qualified designer.
At DM Design & Drafting, we have extensive experience both applying for and reviewing building permit applications. We know exactly which forms, drawings and documentation will be required in order to have your building permit approved.
